OUR COMPANY
Yugto Animation is a start-up animation organization based in the Philippines that aims to produce animations and graphic design through entertainment.
The organization began as a simple collaboration between highschool and college students. The aim at first was to produce a short film that could help enhance whatever skill we sought to enhance. As time grew on however, we recognized the possibilities of banding together and starting an organization to not only enhance our skills but also to continue to grow as friends.
OUR MISSION
To create an avenue for striving students to learn, freely express their art and creativity, providing an environment that enables the team to work and develop more skills, and just have fun in doing work.
To become one of the world’s leading animation studios that creates an avenue to share stories that can enrich Filipino culture through the means of animation.
OUR VISION
Current projects
We are currently in the works of our very first short animation of “Habun.” Hanbun presents a short story of a normal slice of life, highschool setting which follows the character of Uchida.
One seemingly normal school day takes a turn when Uchida realizes she had forgotten her lunch at home. Will she be able to survive without lunch or will a friend come and share their half?
We are also currently working on Short animations to be posted on Youtube.
In the making is our Short called, "Hell Fan."
A hot summer situation. Hell Fan follows the relatable experience of our main character. Poor guy thought a fan could save him from the heat of the sweltering sun.
The Filipino shenanigans in this sweltering heat are both funny and extremely relatable. Temperatures in the Philippines can get unbelievably toasty even when it's not even summer, so cooling down and looking cool can get pretty hard.
It is a drawing that defines both start and end of any transition.
Key Frame
An animator is an artist who can create multiple images,
called frames, which give the illusion of "movement."
Current roles to be filled:
it is the process of making transition frames between two points in order to show movement from the first point to the second.

it is the process of creating the final image for the film. Hence the name, "Clean-up."
Clean-up
Layout Artist
A layout artist tries to capture the composition for characters, background, and lighting for the animation. They also create rough images from the storyboard and draw important keypose and check timing.
Background Designers
(2D/3D)
A background designer is one who designs the scenery around where the animation takes place.
Foley Artist
A foley artist is a person who re-creates sounds for film, video, or any other media in post-production to enhance audio quality.
Sound Designer
A sound designer is one who obtains all sound effects, recorded or live for a specific production.
VFX Artist
A VFX artist or Visual effects artist is one who creates images using digital softwares.
Voice Director
A voice director is responsible for the voice over recordings, ensuring recordings go smooth and efficient.
Music composer
A music composer is one who creates music tracks or melodies.
Sound Editor
A sound editor selects and assembles sound recordings in preparation for the final sound mixing for a film, movie or etc.
Director
A director is the creative lead of the film or the project.
Storyboard Artist
Storyboard artists help the head of the story create visual representations of the animation's narrative or story.
A producer is one who is responsible for overseeing all steps of production.

Light Novel Cover Artist
A light novel cover artist is one who does the artwork or graphics or even text designs for covers of novels.
Manga Artist
A manga artist is one who writes and/or illustrates manga.
Story Writer
A story writer is responsible for writing original stories for novels, plays, television scripts, movies or even animations.
Script Writer
A script writer or screenwriters, create ideas and add life to stories in scripts either for film, television, games and animations.
Character Designer
A character designer is one who visualizes and designs the overall look of an individual character.
Sound Engineer
A sound engineer helps produce a recording or live performance, adjusting and balancing out sound sources.
